We specify concrete mixes based on application: C25/30 for standard floor slabs and driveways, C30/37 for garage floors and heavy-duty areas, C35/45 for industrial applications, and fiber-reinforced options for crack control. All mixes comply with British Standards and we can accommodate special requirements.

Concrete reaches initial set within 24-48 hours for foot traffic, but vehicle use should wait 7 days for standard cars and 14-28 days for heavier vehicles. Full strength develops over 28 days. We'll provide specific guidance based on mix design and weather conditions during curing.

Yes, we install appropriate reinforcement based on load requirements. Options include A142/A193 mesh for standard applications, fiber reinforcement for crack control, and rebar for structural elements. Your structural engineer's specifications take precedence, or we can advise based on intended use.

We offer various finishes including: tamped for non-slip surfaces, power floated for smooth industrial floors, brushed for driveways and paths, exposed aggregate for decorative areas, and stamped patterns for decorative effects. Each finish has different costs and maintenance requirements which we'll explain.
